Happy Cheer Up Day!

Sundays are for Sharing…

I just discovered that yesterday was Cheer Up Day. The attached post reminds us to delight in the everyday gifts around us.

Also known as Cheer Up The Lonely Day, this is a time to recognize those in our neighborhood who have no family nearby, particularly the elderly. The aim of this day was to encourage people to brighten the day of those in nursing homes, through visits. Taking along some cookies, reading material or photos are all gestures of kindness that would be appreciated.

Take the time to spread a little cheer this Sunday.
