Sundays are for Sharing: The Royal Christening

Source: The Telegraph

Today I’m launching a new, regular post: Sundays are for Sharing. When I lived in England Sundays were a day for relaxing and reading the papers, amongst other things. So it seems like the perfect day for sharing (sharing all sorts) at a time when people typically have a little more time to read and reflect.

With today being the day of Princess Charlotte’s christening I thought it would be appropriate to share some links related to the Royal occasion.

There are many gift lists around, with some adorable suggestions, but these pieces stood out as noteworthy:

A gift for the baby who has a privileged life ahead of them.

Wrightson and Platt share the origins of Royal Baby gifts. Pippa Middleton commissioned one of their silver sculptures of hands and feet for Prince George’s big day.

Colliers International suggest forgoing a traditional gift and giving property instead, citing the good return on investment since Prince George’s birth.
